Purpose: CALM – Counseling on Access to Lethal Means – was developed to assist clinicians and others to approach Lethal Means Counseling with an informed, collaborative and respectful attitude. It is explicitly anti-suicide and neither anti- or pro-gun nor anti- or pro-medication.
