The RGV Veterans Coalition: This is a coalition meeting that takes place the 2nd Friday of every month for RGV Service Members, Veterans, and their Families (SMVF) across the region including Cameron, Hidalgo, Willacy, and Starr Counties. These mobile meeting sites are a gathering point for vendors, sponsors, local agencies, VA personnel, VSO agents, Veteran businesses, and all Veteran advocates, stakeholders, and family members to attend in order to promote, collaborate, design, and discuss Veteran resources, topics, opportunities, educational awareness, and events that include the greater community.
The RGV Veterans Coalition will utilize the Tropical Texas Behavioral Health’s (TTBH) Veterans Drop-In Centers as hubs of information and referral directly to our Veterans in need including crisis as necessary. These Veteran Drop-In Centers across the Valley play a pivotal role in providing Veterans with a base of accessibility, resource, and sanctuary.
